Cork distance pads are used to protect and safely separate glass sheets, automotive glass, mirrors, marble, and other fragile materials during both transportation and storage. Cork is combined with a non-marking, static foam backing which allows the pads to be easily applied and removed without leaving any residue.

Distance pads are also known as shipping pads, cling pads, cork pads and glass separator pads.
