First introduced in 2003 and still available today
The LAP (lowest available pricing) policy was introduced by Jelinek Cork Group to allow all Jelinek customers the opportunity of purchasing goods at the lowest possible prices. Jelinek Cork acts as its own manufacturer and distributor and therefore is capable of providing prices to customers without the traditional added markups required at each sales transaction.
Although Jelinek always strives to quote the most competitive prices, there may be times when for a variety of reasons (i.e. currency exchanges, ocean freight surcharges, competitors clearance discounts, etc) others could be quoting lower prices.
The LAP program pledges that Jelinek will discount prices to any customer at minimum 5% below the lowest verifiable current prices quoted by any other supplier.
For verification purposes when deemed necessary Jelinek does reserve the right to request samples and/or a copy of the quotes to determine that the product, quality, quantity, and terms & conditions are comparable and qualify for LAP. Clearance or liquidation sales, dumping costs, or any other one time exceptional discounts will not be accepted towards LAP.
